Dr. Colleen J Hofer, DDS, MAGD
Born in Minot ND and a graduate of Minot High, I did my undergraduate study at Jamestown University and continued on to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating in 2001. While practicing in Williston ND and working for Public Health Services, I began to feel a yearning to return to my home area. In 2008 I bought the practice from the late Dr. Jon Florence family, and I knew I'd found what I wanted for my life's work. I love the patients. I love Velva. I am humbled to continue providing care to existing patients and establishing relationships with new patients.
Education is an integral part of my work, so early on I began the journey to my Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, achieving that level 2007. In June 2015 I received my Master of General Dentistry (MAGD), an accomplishment for which I am most proud. The prestigious MAGD is awarded to fewer than 5% of dentists nationwide. In dentistry, as in almost all walks of life, continuing education never stops. Through national and state symposiums we keep our practice on the cutting edge of technology and innovation, so we can provide premium care to each patient.
